We firmly believe that by forming meaningful partnerships with others who share our vision, we can foster a supportive community that invests in its young people to create a brighter future for Melbourne’s West.

How you can help

We are continually looking to form partnerships with like-minded businesses, government bodies and community organisations who also want our young people and community to thrive. These partnerships could involve working collaboratively on new initiatives or collectively advocating for better pathways and support. It may however be as simple as promoting mmvllen and our programs to your networks, helping us to expand our reach and impact.

Why get involved

Over the last 20 years, we’ve created real change and positive outcomes for young people and the community as a result of our strategic partnerships. As a long-standing contributor to the Maribyrnong and Moonee Valley community, we have the expertise, networks and drive to complement and enhance your efforts toward improving education and employment pathways for young people. As outlined in our 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are most relevant to our purpose are:

Inclusion is a key principle of SDG 4, which calls on countries to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

SDG 8 is focussed on economic growth and calls for long-term, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

SDG 10 is focussed on reducing inequality within and among countries.

SDG 11 focusses us on ensuring cities and human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

How to get involved

If you feel there is an opportunity for us to join forces and would like to explore this further, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
